Christopher Andrews has emerged as a filmmaker from a background in the camera department where he worked on some of the most acclaimed British television dramas and commercials. 

In 2004 he was nominated for the Broadcast Young Talent of the year award in response to his work as a camera operator on the first three series of Shameless and personal film projects. 

After a serious illness Chris decided to leave his camera career behind to concentrate on his passion for writing. 

In 2009 he wrote and directed a short film Together Again featuring Gerard Kearns (Looking for Eric, Mark of Cain).  He is currently in production on another short It’s Warm in the Sun, which examines the effects of chronic illness. 

Of recent work, feature script Paper Boats has been optioned by TANTRUM films and submitted to the MICROWAVE film scheme. Scuttler, a North British Western, has attracted a lot of attention.

Chris is also developing features scripts Hell is People a Gothic Horror/Superhero film, Windscale a Political Thriller, The Trawler a Monster Movie and Daniel a Psychological Horror/Coming of Age film – whilst also developing a Supernatural / Psychological Thriller television series Camber Sands.
